absent? from what?

absence / presence productions, (as we were originally known) came about in an organic manner some 14 years ago - 1993.

Gary Collins, had been working unofficially as a 'renegade artist without art' on all sorts of projects; creating multi-media spaces, splicing film loops, projecting slides in all kinds of strange places, painting, designing and speaking endlessly about 'the arts' and their place in society and culture. He decided to put all these interests together into one identity and so a company was born.

Well, 14 years on and absence / presence continues to develop and grow, with an expanding list of satisfied clients in hand. We now spend far more time developing multi-media solutions, CD-Roms, Websites and Printwork for a wide variety of projects. But we also keep a hand in on leading workshops that explore creativity, art and cultural issues.

absence / presence is a collaborative process, which is stregthened by the wisdom others bring into our development areas. We are proud of all our working relationships with consultants, programmers, designers, artists, musicians, theologians and philosophers.

We strongly believe that these relationships create a far better end result for all our clients.
